Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Help students build confidence in numbers, develop problem-solving skills, and enjoy learning mathematics in a supportive environment!

GSL Education are searching for a committed Maths Teacher to work in schools across Sheffield (S2, S3), delivering engaging lessons that strengthen numeracy, reasoning, and analytical thinking.

In this role, the Mathematics Teacher will plan and deliver structured mathematics lessons, helping learners develop understanding, accuracy, and confidence when working with numbers while maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Responsibilities of Maths Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver well-structured Maths lessons in line with the curriculum
  • Support pupils in developing problem-solving and logical thinking skills
  • Maintain positive behaviour and a focused learning environment
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support learning objectives

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching mathematics in a school setting
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
