Job Title: PE Support
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you enthusiastic about sport and keen to support young people in developing confidence, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle?
GSL Education are seeking a proactive PE Support member of staff to work within schools in Sheffield (S2, S3), assisting with the delivery of engaging and inclusive physical education sessions.
In this role, you will support Physical Education (PE) lessons and extracurricular activities, helping pupils participate fully and safely while promoting positive attitudes towards fitness and wellbeing.
Your key duties:
- Assist in the delivery of PE lessons and sports activities
- Support pupils of varying abilities during practical sessions
- Encourage teamwork, fair play, and active participation
- Help set up and maintain equipment safely as PE Support
- Promote a positive and inclusive sporting environment
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working with children or young people in a sports setting
- A strong interest in physical education and wellbeing
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A supportive, energetic, and reliable approach
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
