Location: Rotherham (S25)
Salary: £460 - £600 per week
Contract Type: Full time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support students with a variety of special educational needs, implementing personalised strategies to enhance learning and development. You will work closely with teaching staff to ensure every student can achieve their potential.
Responsibilities:
- Implement personalised learning and care plans tailored to each student’s needs, promoting independence and personal growth.
- Create a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages trust and engagement.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to provide comprehensive support for students.
- Monitor and maintain records of student progress and activities, following individual care or education plans.
- Assist with personal care, hygiene, and eating when required, ensuring dignity and respect.
- Support students in participating fully in classroom and extracurricular activities using effective communication techniques.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or similar role is preferred.
- Understanding of SEN conditions, strategies, and evidence-based support methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to the changing needs of students.
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting learners with diverse needs.
