Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full time, Feb - Easter

About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stages, supporting students in developing their reading, writing, and analytical skills. You will contribute to a positive learning environment and work collaboratively with colleagues to drive academic progress.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and achievement.
• Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
• Prepare students effectively for internal assessments and external examinations.
• Maintain strong classroom management and uphold school behaviour policies.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and senior leaders to support student development.

Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English at secondary level is preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge of English Language and Literature.
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A proactive and reflective approach to teaching and learning.
