Job Title: PE Support
Location: Wakefield (WF4)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a motivated PE Support professional to join schools in Wakefield, covering the WF4 area. The Physical Education (PE) Support role will assist teachers in delivering lessons, help students participate safely, and promote teamwork and healthy habits.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering PE lessons and practical activities.
  • Support students with skill development, fitness, and participation.
  • Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive environment during lessons.
  • Help organise equipment and resources for activities.
  • Encourage teamwork, confidence, and enjoyment of sport.

Requirements of PE Support:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people in a sports or educational setting.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
