Job Title: RE Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a committed RE Teacher to join schools in Rotherham, covering the S65 and S66 areas. The Religious Education (RE) Teacher will deliver engaging lessons that encourage thoughtful discussion, critical thinking, and an appreciation of different worldviews.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver lessons in line with the RE curriculum.
  • Encourage discussion, reflection, and ethical reasoning.
  • Maintain a positive classroom environment and high standards of behaviour.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support school-wide initiatives.

Requirements of RE Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Experience teaching RE in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
