Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Drama Teacher to join a school in Rotherham (S65, S66), delivering lessons that inspire collaboration, self-expression, and a love of the performing arts.
In this role, the Drama Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons, supporting pupils to develop acting, directing, and analytical skills while maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities of Drama Teacher:
- Plan and deliver structured Drama lessons covering performance, improvisation, and theatre studies
- Encourage creativity, teamwork, and confidence in students
- Support pupils in developing performance, analytical, and evaluative skills
- Maintain a positive, safe, and engaging classroom atmosphere
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Drama in a school setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
