Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are welcoming applications for a passionate Art Teacher to join schools in Rotherham, covering the S65 and S66 areas. The Art Teacher will deliver inspiring lessons that develop practical skills, imagination, and confidence across all year groups.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging art lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Introduce students to various materials, techniques, and artistic styles.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to creative school displays, projects, and wider initiatives.

Requirements of Art Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Experience teaching art in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
