Job Title: Design Technology Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are pleased to recruit a passionate Design Technology Teacher for schools in the S65 and S66 areas of Rotherham.
As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will deliver lessons that develop practical skills, problem-solving, and creative thinking, preparing pupils for future academic and vocational pathways.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality design technology lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Teach practical skills, CAD, and product design concepts.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom and workshop environment.
- Support departmental initiatives and extracurricular design projects.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a Design Technology Teacher in a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and technical skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
