Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are excited to recruit a dedicated Science Teacher for schools in the S65 and S66 areas of Rotherham.

As a Science Teacher, you will deliver lessons across Key Stages, fostering critical thinking, practical investigation skills, and a deeper understanding of scientific concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Encourage enquiry, problem-solving, and practical skills.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom and laboratory environment.
  • Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school science initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Science Teacher in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
