SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Tadcaster
Salary: £88 – £110 per day
Contract: Full Time and Part Time
Start Date: Immediate
GSL Education are recruiting a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.
About the School
The school provides a supportive environment for pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural guidance. Staff focus on building strong relationships and consistent routines.
Responsibilities

Provide targeted SEMH support

Assist with behaviour management strategies

Encourage positive social interaction

Support pupils both inside and outside the classroom
Requirements

Experience supporting SEMH needs

Resilient and empathetic nature

Ability to manage challenging behaviour

DBS on the update service or willing to apply
