Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you confident in managing a classroom and supporting pupils’ learning in the absence of their regular teacher?
GSL Education are seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor to work in schools across Rotherham (S65, S66), ensuring lessons run smoothly and pupils remain focused and engaged.
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will oversee pre-set lessons, support behaviour management, and maintain a positive learning environment.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Supervise lessons and maintain order.
- Ensure pupils complete the work set by the class teacher.
- Encourage positive engagement and behaviour in the classroom.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff as a Cover Supervisor.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A confident, adaptable, and professional approach.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
