Salary: £460 - £600 per week

About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide one-to-one or small group support, helping students engage fully in lessons, develop key skills, and achieve their individual learning targets. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive, positive, and structured learning environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide personalised support to students according to their learning needs and education plans.
• Assist teachers in delivering lessons and adapting activities to meet individual abilities.
• Support students in developing social, emotional, and behavioural skills.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in learning.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and report observations to teaching staff.
• Help with personal care and daily routines where required, respecting dignity and privacy.
• Collaborate with staff to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
• Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs in a school setting is preferred.
• Understanding of SEMH and other SEN conditions and support strategies.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Ability to adapt to the diverse needs of students and classroom environments.
• A patient, compassionate, and professional approach to supporting learners.
