Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are delighted to appoint a committed PE Teacher for a secondary school in the S35 area of Sheffield.

In this role as a Physical Education (PE) Teacher, you will deliver dynamic lessons that encourage active participation, skill development, and a positive attitude towards fitness and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Organise and support extracurricular sports activities and events.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a PE Teacher in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
