Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

Are you a dedicated Geography Teacher looking to inspire students to understand the world around them?

GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic Geography Teacher to work across schools in Doncaster (DN2, DN6), delivering engaging lessons across key stages 3. 4 and 5.

As a Geography Teacher, you will plan and deliver dynamic lessons that develop students’ understanding of physical and human geography, environmental issues, and global development. You will encourage analytical thinking, map skills, and independent research while supporting students in reaching their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons across relevant key stages 3, 4 and 5
  • Teach a broad curriculum including physical, human, and environmental geography
  • Prepare students for assessments and examinations
  • Differentiate lessons to support students of varying abilities and learning needs
  • Maintain strong classroom management and promote positive behaviour
  • Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on student progress
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Degree in Geography or a related subject
  • Experience teaching Geography within a secondary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
