Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

Are you an energetic and motivated PE Teacher ready to inspire students to lead active and healthy lifestyles?

GSL Education are currently seeking a dynamic PE Teacher to work across schools in Doncaster (DN2, DN6), delivering high-quality physical education lessons across key stages 3, 4 and 5.

As a Physical Education (PE) Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons, promoting teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship. You will encourage participation from all students and help them develop confidence, physical skills, and a positive attitude towards fitness and wellbeing.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across key stages 3, 4 and 5
  • Teach a broad range of sports and physical activities
  • Promote health, fitness, and wellbeing through structured lessons
  • Differentiate activities to support students of varying abilities
  • Organise and supervise fixtures, clubs, and extra-curricular sports activities where required
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and ensure safe practice at all times
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
  • Contribute to curriculum development within the PE department

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Degree in Physical Education or a related subject
  • Experience teaching PE within a school setting
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety within sports settings
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
