Your Role as a Learning Support Assistant:
- Provide high-quality classroom assistance across a variety of subjects and year groups.
- Deliver small group interventions and 1:1 support tailored to individual student needs.
- Work closely with class teachers to prepare, adapt, and deliver learning activities.
- Assist pupils with SEN, ensuring inclusive access to the curriculum.
- Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and confidence among learners.
- Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
What You’ll Need as a Learning Support Assistant:
- Experience supporting children or young people in an educational or care setting.
- Strong communication, patience, and organisational skills.
- A proactive, caring, and enthusiastic approach to learning.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and follow direction.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
