Job Title: History Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are searching for a passionate History Teacher to deliver engaging lessons in schools across Sheffield, particularly within the S11 area. The role focuses on developing pupils’ critical thinking, analytical skills, and a love of historical enquiry.
As a History Teacher, you will create thought-provoking lessons that encourage pupils to explore events, contexts, and perspectives, helping them make connections between past and present.
Core Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality history lessons as a History Teacher.
- Encourage pupils to analyse sources, think critically, and engage in discussion.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the history curriculum.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching history in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- An engaging, patient, and inclusive approach to teaching.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
