Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are excited to recruit a passionate Drama Teacher for a secondary school in the S11 area of Sheffield.

As a Drama Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop performance skills, teamwork, and self-expression, inspiring pupils to explore their creative potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality drama lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Encourage pupils to express themselves confidently and creatively.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom.
  • Support school productions, performances, and extracurricular activities.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Drama Teacher in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
