Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a dependable Cover Supervisor to join schools in Sheffield, covering the S11 area. The Cover Supervisor (CS) will supervise classes, manage behaviour, and ensure students remain focused and engaged with their work.

Key Duties of Cover Supervisor:

  • Oversee lessons using work provided by teaching staff.
  • Maintain a calm and productive classroom atmosphere.
  • Provide clear instructions and support students with tasks.
  • Record attendance and report any concerns to senior staff.
  • Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting.
  • Confidence in leading a classroom independently.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different subjects and age groups.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
