Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are excited to recruit a passionate English Teacher for a school in the S11 area of Sheffield.

As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop reading, writing, and analytical skills, encouraging pupils to think critically and creatively.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Encourage discussion, critical thinking, and literacy skills.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Support school literacy initiatives and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as an English Teacher in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
