Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are inviting applications for a passionate Maths Teacher to join schools in Sheffield, covering the S11 area. The Mathematics Teacher will deliver lessons that build understanding, encourage analytical thinking, and support students of all abilities to achieve their potential.

Responsibilities of Maths Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver lessons in line with the maths curriculum.
  • Promote problem-solving, reasoning, and critical thinking skills.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and a positive classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support school-wide goals.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Experience teaching mathematics in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
