About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons while providing targeted assistance to students who require additional help. You will contribute to maintaining a structured, engaging, and supportive classroom environment that enables all learners to thrive.
Responsibilities:
• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons across the curriculum.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students to reinforce learning and understanding.
• Assist in preparing classroom resources and maintaining an organised learning environment.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage student engagement in all activities.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers where required.
• Support students with additional needs, adapting strategies to meet individual requirements.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting learning.
• A genuine commitment to promoting students’ academic and personal development.
