About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons or step into classroom teaching roles as required. This position offers flexibility, variety, and the opportunity to gain experience across different year groups and subject areas, while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and learning.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with provided plans, ensuring continuity of learning.
• Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies, maintaining a positive and productive environment.
• Adapt teaching approaches to suit varying abilities and learning styles.
• Provide feedback to permanent staff regarding student progress and behaviour.
• Support students’ academic development and encourage active participation in lessons.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and contribute to the overall well-being of pupils.
Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt quickly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident delivering lessons across different subjects and key stages.
• A professional, reliable, and flexible approach to teaching.
