About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that develop students’ numeracy, reasoning, and problem-solving skills. You will play a key role in raising attainment, supporting learners of varying abilities, and contributing to a positive and focused learning environment.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of students of all abilities.
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
• Maintain strong classroom management to ensure a purposeful learning environment.
• Prepare students for assessments and examinations where applicable.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and develop resources.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress when required.
Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential).
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Ability to motivate, inspire, and challenge students.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
