Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5)
Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full time, Feb - Easter

About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting strong literacy skills and critical thinking. You will play a key role in supporting student progress, maintaining high standards of behaviour, and contributing to a positive and ambitious learning culture.

Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction to support students of varying abilities.
• Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
• Maintain strong classroom management to create a focused learning environment.
• Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives where appropriate.

Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant UK teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3/KS4).
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A commitment to raising standards and supporting student achievement.
