Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to provide targeted academic and behavioural support to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will play a vital role in promoting engagement, maintaining focus in lessons, and helping students overcome barriers to learning.

Responsibilities:
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students across a range of subjects, helping them access the curriculum effectively.
• Support students with additional learning needs, ensuring tailored strategies are implemented consistently.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and behaviour management.
• Encourage positive participation, motivation, and engagement in lessons.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Promote a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment at all times.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar school-based role is desirable.
• Experience working within a secondary school setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting young people’s development.
