Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a Sports Coach to work with schools in Barnsley (S70, S71), delivering practical sessions that develop physical fitness, teamwork, and confidence.
In this role, the Sports Coach will lead activities across a variety of sports, support pupils in improving technique, and promote participation, fair play, and a positive attitude towards health and wellbeing.
Role Highlights:
- Plan and deliver engaging sports sessions for different ages and abilities
- Encourage teamwork, resilience, and personal development
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
- Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to pupils as Sports Coach
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support wider school sports initiatives
Skills and Experience:
- Experience coaching or working with children and young people in sports
- Strong communication and motivational skills
- Ability to inspire pupils and promote engagement in physical activity
- Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
