Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate

GSL Education are searching for an inspiring RE Teacher to join a school in Barnsley (S70, S71), delivering lessons that inspire curiosity, reflection, and discussion.
In this role, the Religious Education (RE) Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons, helping pupils understand different religions, moral issues, and cultural perspectives, while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities of RE Teacher:
- Plan and deliver structured RE lessons in line with the curriculum
- Encourage discussion, critical thinking, and ethical reasoning
- Support pupils in developing respect for diverse beliefs
- Maintain positive behaviour and an inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching RE in a school setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
