Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are delighted to recruit a dedicated Geography Teacher for schools in the S70 and S71 areas of Barnsley.
As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that help pupils develop map skills, environmental awareness, and an understanding of human and physical geography.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality geography lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Encourage enquiry, discussion, and analytical thinking.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom.
- Support field trips and extracurricular activities related to geography.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a Geography Teacher in a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
