Trainee Teacher
Location: York, North Yorkshire
Start Date: April 2026 or sooner
Salary: £90 – £120 per day
Contract: Term Time Only

Are you looking to begin or build your career in education? GSL Education is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Teachers to work in primary, secondary and special needs schools across York and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering teacher training, Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain additional classroom experience, and experienced Cover Supervisors ready to take the next step.
The Role:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
- Support pupils’ learning and engagement in the classroom
- Gain valuable experience in different school settings
- Develop behaviour management and classroom leadership skills
- Work flexibly to suit your availability
