Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on Experience)

Are you a creative and inspiring Art Teacher with a passion for nurturing artistic talent?
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Art Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Sheffield (S2, S3).
As an Art Teacher, you will plan and deliver inspiring lessons that support students in developing their artistic techniques, creative confidence, and appreciation of the visual arts across a variety of media. This role provides both day-to-day supply and long-term opportunities, making it ideal for teachers who are passionate about nurturing creativity and encouraging individual expression.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Art lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Teach a broad range of artistic techniques, styles, and media to develop students’ creative skills.
- Foster creativity, self-expression, and independent thinking within the classroom.
- Monitor and assess students’ work, providing clear and constructive feedback to support progress.
- Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-organised learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively while promoting positive participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to departmental initiatives, projects, and exhibitions.
Skills & Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Art in UK schools is desirable.
- Strong subject knowledge in Art and Design.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
- A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
