Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) to work in schools across Barnsley (S70, S71), providing valuable classroom and individual support to pupils.
In this role, you will work alongside teaching staff to help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment where all pupils feel supported and encouraged.
Responsibilities of Teaching Assistant:
- Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
- Assist with classroom activities and lesson preparation
- Encourage positive behaviour and active participation
- Help implement individual learning strategies where required
- Provide feedback to staff on pupil progress and engagement
Requirements of Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with children or young people
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
