Location: Sheffield – S5, S9
Salary: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are recruiting dedicated, empathetic, and proactive individuals to join a supportive school community in the Sheffield S5 and S9 areas as Behaviour Support Staff. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive difference in students’ lives while building valuable experience in an educational environment.
Your Role as Behaviour Support Staff:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with behavioural and emotional needs.
- Implement tailored strategies to promote positive behaviour, engagement, and resilience.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SEN teams, and pastoral leads.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
- Maintain professionalism and always uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies.
What You’ll Need:
- Experience working with young people (school, youth work, support roles, or similar environments).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach when managing challenging situations.
- A proactive attitude and a genuine commitment to supporting young people’s development.
- Relevant qualifications (advantageous but not essential).
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
