Location: Sheffield – S5, S9
Salary: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking confident, motivated, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join supportive school communities in Sheffield – S5 & S9. If you’re passionate about helping young people learn and want to develop your skills in education, this is an excellent opportunity to step into a rewarding school-based role.

Your Role as a Cover Supervisor (CS):

  • Supervise classes during teacher absences and ensure learning continues smoothly.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials to students across a range of subjects.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Support students with their learning and encourage positive engagement.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff after each lesson.

What You’ll Need as a Cover Supervisor (CS):

  • Experience working with young people (education, youth work, sports coaching, tutoring, etc.).
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
  • A proactive, patient, and resilient approach.
  • Relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential).
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
