Salary: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time
GSL Education are seeking confident, motivated, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join supportive school communities in Sheffield – S5 & S9. If you’re passionate about helping young people learn and want to develop your skills in education, this is an excellent opportunity to step into a rewarding school-based role.
Your Role as a Cover Supervisor (CS):
- Supervise classes during teacher absences and ensure learning continues smoothly.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials to students across a range of subjects.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Support students with their learning and encourage positive engagement.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff after each lesson.
What You’ll Need as a Cover Supervisor (CS):
- Experience working with young people (education, youth work, sports coaching, tutoring, etc.).
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- A proactive, patient, and resilient approach.
- Relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential).
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
