Pay rate: £90-£120 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are looking for a committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming school in Darlington, providing valuable classroom and one-to-one support to pupils who need additional guidance.
As an LSA, you will work closely with teaching staff to ensure learners remain engaged, supported, and able to access the curriculum in a positive and structured environment.
Responsibilities of LSA:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils
- Assist with classroom activities and lesson preparation
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning
- Support pupils with additional learning needs
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
