Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistants
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are searching for experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistants to provide tailored support in schools across the Dinnington area (S25), helping pupils access their learning with confidence.

As 1:1 Teaching Assistants (TA), you will work closely with individual pupils, supporting their academic progress, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing throughout the school day.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted one-to-one support as 1:1 Teaching Assistants.
  • Assist with implementing personalised learning plans and strategies.
  • Encourage pupils’ engagement, confidence, and positive behaviour.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SEN teams, and parents.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children with additional or special educational needs.
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
