Job Title: Computer Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S13)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are appointing a passionate Computer Science Teacher for a school in Sheffield’s S13 area.

As a Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that help pupils gain confidence in technology and develop practical digital skills.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver computer science lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Promote problem-solving, logical thinking, and programming skills.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support pupils in safe and responsible use of technology.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Computer Science Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
