Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Sheffield (S13)
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor to work in schools across Sheffield, with opportunities in the S13 area, ensuring pupils remain engaged and focused during lessons.
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will oversee pre-set lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and support pupils to complete tasks effectively in a calm and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise lessons using work provided by teaching staff
- Maintain a positive, safe, and focused classroom atmosphere
- Encourage pupils to stay on task and engaged with learning activities
- Report back to staff on lesson progress and any concerns as Cover Supervisor.
- Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Confidence in supervising groups and maintaining a structured environment
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
