About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide academic and pastoral support to students. You will play a key role in helping learners engage with lessons, build confidence, and achieve their individual goals. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to students’ development in a supportive educational setting.
Responsibilities:
• Provide in-class support to students across a range of subjects and abilities, ensuring they remain engaged and focused on learning.
• Assist the class teacher with planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities that meet individual needs.
• Support students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to reinforce learning and boost confidence.
• Promote positive behaviour and contribute to maintaining a safe and structured classroom environment.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and senior staff.
• Support students’ social and emotional development alongside academic achievement.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational setting is desirable.
• A genuine passion for supporting children and young people in their learning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and student needs.
• A patient, proactive, and supportive approach.
