About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will step into classrooms to deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher. This role offers flexibility, variety, and the opportunity to work across different year groups and subject areas while gaining valuable experience.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and policies.
• Maintain strong classroom management to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
• Follow school procedures and lesson plans to ensure consistency in learning.
• Provide clear feedback to permanent staff regarding student progress and behaviour.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and promote student well-being at all times.
Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to quickly build rapport with students and staff.
• Flexible, reliable, and confident delivering lessons across different settings.
