About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that support students in developing strong numeracy, reasoning, and problem-solving skills. You will create a focused and supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and academic growth.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
• Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
• Maintain effective classroom management to ensure a positive learning environment.
• Support students in developing confidence and resilience in mathematical problem-solving.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to departmental development.
Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 4.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
