Job description
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Manchester for an experienced Secondary Teaching Assistant with a strong SEN background.
This is a full-time role supporting students aged 11–16 with a range of additional needs. The school is looking for a confident, proactive TA who can provide consistent classroom support and targeted interventions.
The Role:

Supporting students with SEN including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and MLD

Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions

Assisting teachers with differentiated learning strategies
-
Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation
-
Helping to implement EHCP targets
Requirements:
-
Previous experience as a TA in a secondary school

Strong SEN experience (essential)

Confident supporting challenging behaviour where required

A patient, resilient and proactive approach

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
