Salary: Up to £220 per day

About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ reading, writing, and analytical skills. You will create a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes participation, critical thinking, and a love of literature and language.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum, ensuring all students are appropriately challenged.
• Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
• Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
• Maintain effective classroom management to create a focused and respectful learning environment.
• Prepare students for assessments and examinations, supporting them to achieve their full potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practice.

Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 4.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students of all abilities.
