Salary: £460 - £600 per week

About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide targeted support to students with additional learning needs. You will play a key role in helping pupils access the curriculum, develop confidence, and achieve both academic and personal milestones.
Responsibilities:
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN, adapting learning materials to meet individual needs.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and structured interventions.
• Support students’ emotional regulation, social interaction, and behavioural development.
• Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and personalised support strategies.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Monitor and record student progress, reporting feedback to teaching staff.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role is desirable.
• Understanding of a range of Special Educational Needs and effective support strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain patient, empathetic, and adaptable.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
