Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a passionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to work in schools in Sheffield, covering the S2 and S3 areas. The SEN Teaching Assistant will provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, helping them access learning and build confidence both academically and socially.
Key Duties:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN.
- Assist the class teacher in adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Support students with communication, literacy, or social development.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times.
Essential Requirements of SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN.
- Patient, empathetic, and supportive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of inclusive education practices.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
