Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are hiring an experienced SEN Teacher to deliver tailored education in schools across Sheffield, particularly within the S2 and S3 areas.

As a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher, you will plan and deliver personalised lessons that meet individual learning needs, ensuring every pupil has the opportunity to succeed.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons as an SEN Teacher.
  • Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including communication and behavioural challenges.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with pupils with special educational needs.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A patient, adaptable, and inclusive approach to teaching.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
