GSL Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Hammersmith & Fulham!!
Role details:
- Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Location: Hammersmith & Fulham, West London
- Salary: £90–£110 per day (depending on experience)
- Contract: Full-time | Long-term | Temp to Perm
- Start Date: ASAP
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting pupils with Autism (ASC), SEMH, ADHD and complex needs in a structured and supportive environment.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support
- Support pupils with EHCPs and personalised learning plans
- Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff
- Help create a safe and engaging learning environment
The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have:
- Experience working in an SEN school, PRU, alternative provision or mainstream SEN setting
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A calm, patient and resilient approach
- A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
