Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Middlesbrough
Pay rate: £90 -£120 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Inspire young people to stay active, develop skills, and enjoy sport in a positive and encouraging environment.
GSL Education are hiring a motivated Sports Coach to join schools in Middlesbrough. In this role, the Sports Coach will deliver engaging sessions, help students build fitness and confidence, and promote teamwork and healthy lifestyles.
Key Duties of Sports Coach:
- Plan and lead sports sessions for students of all abilities.
- Encourage participation, skill development, and enjoyment of physical activity.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Support school teams and extracurricular sports activities.
- Work closely with staff to promote physical education across the school.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience coaching or leading sports activities with young people.
- Strong communication and motivational skills.
- Ability to organise sessions and manage groups effectively.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
