About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring that students remain engaged, safe, and productive. You will support learning continuity while maintaining high standards of behaviour and organisation. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience across different classes and subjects.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, maintaining a safe and structured environment.
• Support students in completing work and staying on task during lessons.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Follow lesson plans and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Monitor student engagement and report any concerns promptly.
• Support the wider school team with administrative or organisational tasks as required.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a school environment is preferred but not essential.
• Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to adapt to a range of classes and student needs.
• Reliable, professional, and committed to student success.
